The provision of necessary self-employment equipment to 09 beneficiaries under the Economic Empowerment of Women from Destitute Families Project in Kelaniya Division, funded by the Ministry of Justice and National Integration, was carried out in several three-day phases on 2024/12/03, 2024/12/18, and 2024/12/23.

The Kalyanni Prahahasadhi Sahitye Kala Mahotsavaya - 2024 program was organized by the Mr. Sujeewa Wickramanayake, Cultural Officer of the Kelaniya Divisional Secretariat, under the guidance of the Kelaniya Divisional Secretary Mrs. A.A.D.C. Nadeeshani Amarasinghe and the Assistant Divisional Secretary Mrs. M.Bhagya.M. Athukorala, on 2024.10.25 at the Kelaniya Cultural Center.
The winners of the literary creation competition organized with the aim of creating creators were awarded certificates here and the program was further illuminated by the entertaining lecture of Sumith Suraweera on "How to develop productivity through aesthetics".












Under the guidance of Kelaniya Divisional Secretary Mrs. A.A.D.C. Nadishani Amarasinghe and Kelaniya Assistant Divisional Secretary Mrs. Bhagya .M Athukorala, on 16.05.2024, the project of planting 100 Cabbage plants in the premises of Kelaniya Rajamaha Vihara was carried out by the Kelaniya green team program.
Mango plants were also distributed to the participating Divisional Secretariat officials and women of voluntary organizations.
