Poson Damma Serman

On the occasion of Poson Poya, a Dhamma sermon program was held for office officials on 26.06.2026 under the guidance of Kelaniya Divisional Secretary Mrs. Gayani Ranasinghe and Assistant Divisional Secretary Mrs. M. Bhagya M. Athukorala, and the sermon was delivered by the Most Venerable Kandegama Narada Thero, Coordinator of Buddhist Affairs at the Kelaniya Divisional Secretariat.

Buddhist hymn Concert

The Buddhist hymn concert held on June 01 at the Kelaniya-Kiribathgoda Vesak Zone Main Stage with the participation of government institutions, voluntary organizations and community organizations was further enriched with the participation of Kelaniya Divisional Secretariat officers and concluded very successfully.

Gam Dahasak Wada Dahasak

The inaugural ceremonies of the Kelaniya Division in relation to the Praja Shakthi Villages Thousand Works Project were held on 2026.06.02, focusing on Polhena, Dalugama and Pethiyagoda divisions, and the inaugural event of developing the remaining part of the side wall of the canal from the Pethiyagoda Devala Road to the second lane was successfully completed.
